After additional research, I’ve learned that some recently enacted anti-LGBTQ laws in Ohio have a very limited reach. Gender-affirming care is banned for those under 18 whose parents have visitation rights or parenting time assigned by a court. The law banning unisex restrooms and forcing people to use the restroom based on their physical sex applies only to K-12 and college/university campuses. On the State Status List page, What that information taken into account, Ohio is now (just barely) in the “OK to attend” category and is removed from the Caution list.
Over the next weeks and months, I plan on confirming the rest of the info in my spreadsheet and make additional corrections as needed.
This is an ever changing situation, of course — especially in the next several years. I will keep up to date on these issues as much as possible.
