Thank you, Matsuricon 2024!

Matsuricon has come to a close, and it was a wonderful experience as always!

Huge thanks to the programming staff for having me back after a long absence thanks to COVID and medical recovery. Running Livin’ the Con Life, Jackbox, and Family Feud were experiences that went over well with attendees and I learned more about what works well and what needs to improve with each time I perform these events. In addition, the live premiere of Wipeout went incredibly smoothly and the atmosphere in the room was electric during the bonus round!

I also caught up with many longtime friends and recharged my batteries a bit.

“Tell the people you love that you love them.”

I got a recent ask on Tumblr about why I’ve begun to add this phrase to the end of my shows, streams, and panels.

It’s to remind me, and everyone, how important it is to actually say out loud, that you love the people you love. Whether they’re family, extended family, lovers, children, friends, friends-turned-found-family, even pets. Every single one of the people you love deserves to hear that. And you deserve to hear it in return.

I didn’t get the chance to say it to Granny before she died earlier this year, and I wouldn’t want my worse enemy to go through the grief I have over not having that chance, and feeling like they didn’t express their love to the people who have gone before.

Matsuricon, here we come!

We have just gotten word that we will be heading to Matsuricon 2024 in Columbus, OH, just before Labor Day weekend!

Matsuricon 2021 Update

We had high hopes of being able to return to Matsuricon this year with even more content for many of AGSP’s biggest fans. While things are beginning to open up as more people are vaccinated against COVID-19, it’s not quite completely safe to hold massively large indoor events.

Matsuricon had to make the gut-wrenching call to cancel their 2021 convention. While heartbreaking to see, we’re very glad that Matsuricon is acting with their attendees’ best interest at the front of their mind. As registrations and event submissions are being rolled forward, we look forward to working with the con to make a triumphant return in 2022.

WE do have some other events planned in the remainder of 2021. Check the Appearances for full details.
